I didn’t grow up wanting to be an entrepreneur. I grew up wanting the kind of stability my parents worked so hard to give me. Building a business wasn’t part of the plan, but it became the way I found both purpose and security.
An Unexpected Path
I didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming an entrepreneur.
Like many children of immigrants, I grew up believing success followed a simple formula: work hard, get a good education, build a stable career, and everything else would fall into place. I followed that path, earning my degree and spending years building a career in corporate management.
On paper, I was doing everything right.
But after experiencing multiple layoffs in just a few years, I started questioning whether stability was really something a company could give me. I wanted to build something that no one could take away - a career where the effort I put in directly shaped my future.
That’s what led me to the beauty industry.
What began as learning a new skill quickly became an obsession with the artistry behind it. I fell in love with designing lash sets that weren’t just beautiful, but intentionally created for the person wearing them. Every eye shape presented a new puzzle, and every appointment became an opportunity to create something unique.
Today, Cilesia Beauty Bar is built on that same philosophy.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all beauty. Every set is mapped from scratch, every design is customized, and every client leaves with lashes created specifically for them.
Looking back, I never imagined I’d end up here. But sometimes the path you never planned for becomes the one that feels most like yourself.

My role is not to change your face or make you look like someone else. It’s simply to help you see yourself the way the people who love you already do - confident, beautiful, and breathtaking in your own way.
People often ask me what my favorite part of being a lash artist is. My favorite moment is handing you the mirror - watching your smile change, the way you stand a little taller, the way you leave carrying yourself with a little more confidence than when you arrived.
Because the truth is, it’s never really been about the lashes. Beauty isn’t something I create; it’s already there. My role is simply to help you see it. Thank you for trusting me to be a small part of that.
